22nd June - Elena's Beach Camping
Once again the tent environment was not encouraging a sleep-in so I was up and about fairly early.
I had purchased some milk in readiness to brew up a coffee and set about getting the stove-top espresso bubbling. I brewed a coffee, walked down to the shore, sat and enjoyed the view and the coffee.

and took a quick picture of the campsite.
I was up before the staff so I set about working on this website offline thereby saving my hour-by-hour internet access for later in the day when the upload was ready to go.
After the hosts were up and about I ordered a lovely breakfast and enjoyed it while I continued on this website.
I continued working straight through until lunchtime.
By around 1pm I was ready to buy internet access, check a couple of facts/figures etc from the internet and then start the upload sequence.
The internet seemed quick so I was hopeful of a speedy upload.
I clicked on the "Publish" icon in the software and watched for progress……….all looked really good…until WARNING symbols started to appear.
Each time I stopped and restarted progress appeared to continue….
I snuck in some food for lunch and a swim in the afternoon.
After at least 7hrs of starting, stopping, resetting, buying more internet access hours and trying to complete the upload I thought all was good. I advised all of my facebook friends of the 'successful' upload. Within a short period of time my young brother, Bob, advised that pages and pictures were failing to appear and instead error messages were coming up.
I packed-up for the day since it had been a long one and I wasn't hopeful of resolving the upload easily.
I decided to watch a bit of the Euro 2012 (Germany vs Greece). Germany had the game in hand so I didn't mind going to bed before the obvious result was finalised.

The local hosts weren't happy while the 'local' residents of the campground were.
23rd June - Elena's Beach Camping and Igoumenitsa
Again I was up early, coffee in hand, checking the website and preparing to confirm what was and was not published correctly.

I confirmed there were a few issues with this website and what was published.
I tried again at Elena's Beach Campground and things were not looking good.
I decided to go into Igoumenitsa and try again at one of the cafes while having lunch. I connected up and thought things were on track when the software decided a complete upload of the entire site was required. I persisted for about an hour before I gave up again.
I gave up on the update upload and had lunch.
I returned to Elena's Beach Campground, via Plantaria, swam and relaxed and planned my journey into Albania.
It was a quite afternoon, evening and night.
Albania tomorrow and the web services had better be good…...
